Electrically Actuated Ball Valve Uses

In industry, control over product movement and system operations is absolutely crucial for success. In some situations, where there are large and complicated piping systems in place for moving process media, fixtures like an electrically actuated ball valve could greatly ease the process of maintaining production.

Some industrial systems are in place for cleaning or refining procedures, while other ones are focusing on providing circulation of liquids or gases. Furthermore, some machinery systems are used for a different type of production altogether, but liquids and gases are probably still involved in a system of pipes. Gases and liquids can either be the product that is being produced, filtered, and circulated, or they can be present to provide the pressure needed for another operation to commence.

An electrically actuated ball valve is incredibly beneficial for controlling the movement of gases and liquids between different pipes. The ball valve works by employing a spherical disc, known as a ball, for use within a piping system. The ball is rotated as needed within the pipes, to either open or block passageway to a particular pipe entrance.

An electrically actuated ball valve is controlled by an electric current that operates an actuator, so that the spherical disc can be rotated automatically instead of manually. This electrically actuated ball valve can then be equipped with sensors that allow it to respond to certain conditions created by production, and then move accordingly. As a result, if an electrically actuated ball valve becomes aware that a certain chamber is full of substance and can hold no more, it could move to close the pipe opening to that passage and redirect the other gas and liquid substances into a different pipe.

An electrically actuated ball valve can be used in several different pipe situations, connecting various numbers of pipes and pathway options. If there are several types converging at a single location, an electrically actuated ball valve could be used to control which path substances should be directed towards at any given time in the production process. These actions can be programmed to occur automatically.

Ball valves are generally known for their reliability, easy maintenance, and ability to provide a tight seal for a shut-off operation. These characteristics are all present in an electrically actuated ball valve, which could be installed in a system that manages two different types of production and effectively provide seals that keep substances separated when necessary. Ball valves are long-lasting and predictable, and able to perform effectively even years after they have been installed. Additionally, the electrical wiring for automatic electrically actuated ball valve manipulation is relatively simple and easy to apply to a system. The valve can then be programmed and controlled remotely, which is generally the preferable option in modern industrial settings. Should there be any type of problem with the electrically actuated ball valve, diagnosis is also usually a quick and simple process. Fewer instances of exploring pipe sections through trial and error are needed to diagnose issues in electrical systems, which is a critical point for business owners to recognize since they do not want to lose valuable production time.
